A stylist was asked to make the letter P from something “honest.” At 11:47 PM, the studio fridge failed. The meat warmed, the fat lines tightened like handwriting, and the shape blinked.
They called him Meaty Pons: Meaty because pretending otherwise felt rude; Pons after the part of the brain that bridges sleep, sound and waking. He is the bridge that refused to stay still.
